College Football America 2018 Division III Preseason Top 30

The Mount Union Purple Raiders, coming off a national championship, are No. 1 in the College Football America 2018 Yearbook Division III preseason Top 30.

The Purple Raiders, a perennial power in Division III and the winners of 13 national titles, defeated 2016 national champion Mary Hardin-Baylor in the Stagg Bowl. Three Mount Union players, including quarterback D’Angelo Fulford, are part of CFA’s Division III preseason Starting Lineup.

Mary Hardin-Baylor is No. 2. St. Thomas is No. 3, followed by a pair of Wisconsin schools, No. 4 Wisconsin-Whitewater and No. 5 Wisconsin-Oshkosh.

No. 6 Saint John’s (MN), No. 7 Linfield, No. 8 North Central, No. 9 Wesley and No. 10 Delaware Valley round out the Top 10.

Hardin-Simmons leads the next group of teams in the rankings at No. 11, followed by No. 12 Washington & Jefferson, No. 13 John Carroll, No. 14 Frostburg State, No. 15 Wartburg, No. 16 Wheaton, No. 17 Johns Hopkins, No. 18 Berry, No. 19 Rose-Hulman and No. 20 Franklin & Marshall.

Rounding out the Top 30 are No. 21 Washington & Lee, No. 22 Brockport, No. 23 Alfred, No. 24 Franklin, No. 25 Wittenberg, No. 26 Huntingdon, No. 27 Framingham State, No. 28 Springfield, No. 29 Trinity (CT) and No. 30 SUNY Cortland.

The College Football America 2018 Yearbook features more than 930 college football teams from the United States and Canada in more than 300 striking, full-color pages. That includes every team from the NCAA (FBS, FCS, Division II and Division III), NAIA, NJCAA, CCCAA and U Sports (Canada).
