TREE TOP
Walter Camp played at Yale before the program had an official head coach (1876-1882). He is one of the forefathers of the modern game of American football, and he is, perhaps, the most prominent Tree Top in the College Football Coaching Tree. He is nicknamed the “Father of American Football.”
