This Week in College Baseball (April 12-18)

The Hurricanes head into the weekend in the top spot in the College Baseball Top 30 for the first time after both Vanderbilt and Florida stumbled last week. Miami will travel to Durham, North Carolina, to face the unranked Duke Blue Devils who could, nevertheless, prove to be a stubborn opponent with the homefield advantage.

Vanderbilt CommodoresVanderbilt settles in at No. 2, and the Commodores will host the No. 21 Kentucky Wildcats in Nashville while trying to get back on the winning track. The No. 3 Florida Gators, meanwhile, will head to Fayetteville, Arkansas, to take on the No. 26 Razorbacks who have lost five of their past six SEC games after sweeping Auburn at the end of March. The No. 4 Texas A&M Aggies will face off against the No. 7
Mississippi State Bulldogs in the Series of the Week at Starkville, Florida GatorsMississippi, and the No. 5 South Carolina Gamecocks will pay a visit to the unranked Georgia Bulldogs.

Other top matchups include a couple of ACC battles with No. 18 Clemson at No. 10 Louisville and No. 14 NC State at No. 17 Georgia Tech.
